To install a printer, the following procedure should be used:

1. Obtain:

Printer location
Printer Model #
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Default Gateway

The naming scheme is as follows L-151-LJ4100

If the printer has a special function or location append to the end of the naming scheme EC-100-LJ4250-Kiosk

2. *Currently only Patrick or Josh can change the Printer DB. Please see them with the new printer information to be added.* Go to the wiki page Printer IP & Queue Names and enter the new printer information in the table.

3. Install and configure the printer in the desired location. Then contact Josh or Patrick for the port assignment.

4. Contact Cyril or Susan with the pertinent information to create a new print queue.

5. If the computers are not eGCC, then install the printer on the desired computers (this step should be removed once all has been moved to eGCC).
