This is an old document and should be considered historical reference. For any up to date information of SoftGrid Applications on the eGCC system look to newer documentation. Link to to be placed here soon. -roger bontrager
 | For faculty: If you are a Subject Matter Expert we need you to test and verify applications for classroom functionality? Are there any problems that need to be documented for the application or dependencies (external databases, plug-ins, etc)? Please feel free to add any comments on your applications to the bottom of this page or contact Roger Siggs, Susan Bedker or John Kakritz with issues or to add applications that are absolutely essential for Fall startup to this list. |
 | For application sequencers:
This list is intended as a working document. Sequencers, please update as applications are sequenced and/or problems arise. Additionally, as you sequence an application, ensure that you fill out a recipe template. Verify and determine: has the application been tested to run?
For continuity of format, all applications should be sequenced and packaged with the following format:
[Application name][Application 2nd name][Version]_[Vendor]_Mnt
The AD groups should be created as follows:
[Application name][Application 2nd name][version]
This formatting should match the first part of the package name. The one default member of each AD application group should be "Blanket Softgrid Users." This is the select group of network staff and IA's that will get all applications provisioned. Genesis will add the rest of the user groups. As a TEMPORARY measure to get us through next week's testing, also add "Softgrid Users" to each application group, we'll remove that later. |
