Welcome back to GCC for the Fall 2006 semester

While you've been gone we've been quite busy with the Network Redesign Project. We are all very excited about the changes that we've made this summer. Much has already been done but there remains a lot to do.  This page will provide links to the most critical network documentation that you will need to understand what features of the eGCC network are functioning properly, how to use these new features, what features are broken, and what is being done to bring these broken features into proper and reliable service.  Stay tuned to this page as we gear up for the first semester with the new eGCC environment.

Do you have questions about the new eGCCenvironment?  Try our list of Frequently asked Questions.  Perhaps you are interested the latest news and historyregarding our activity this summer.  To find specific information on how to use the new eGCC resources click here.  If you are an instructor interested in changes in the campus computer labs then we have a page just for you.   Are you are looking for information on planned office changes for employees?  If you are a student, we've got a page for you as well.

Take this link to see the Issues we are tracking, the fixes that have been made, and to add your feedback.  Please help us to better serve you by adding a comment and/or contacting the helpdesk regarding issues you may be experiencing.

The new Softricity SoftGrid system is operational and provisioned with dozens of applications. Go here to see the Current application statuson the applications you use every day.  We encourage you to test out the applications that you plan to use in your classroom.

Take this link to see a list of the Computer labs on campus and their current reimaging status.

In case you are wondering what this wiki thing you are reading is all about and how to get started using the GCC wiki, well we've got information on that as well. Here's to a great Fall 2006 semester at eGCC.
