Wednesday AM Vendors: Need volunteers at entrance to help facilitate groups coming on to campus. Be sure that Campus Safety is there for any vehicle coming on campus.
Signage
More Signage with Details - Mark Floor brought sample signs.
- Use sandwich boards for signs and change the posters out during the week.
- Voting should be emphasized as well as "Focus the Nation" schedule. Spread out the sandwich boards, particularly by parking lots and Student Union.
- Extra copies could be put in buildings (Physical Science, etc)
- Twenty four copies should be sufficient. Twelve copies should be poster board and twelve can be paper. Mark Floor will send out an e-mail when posters are done and the poster can then be picked up for distribution.
For Flyers, Angie will get a signature and save as a PDF. The flyers can then be sent out in e-mail with the signature. We have volunteers to post the flyers - print as needed.
Questions for Panel discussion
- Box @ Doris Table & Student Activity Table -Alexa will make three boxes (Joe will provides boxes to Alexa): (one at HTC table, one at student activity table); question prompt will just be write question for local government and campus leaders about global warming (writing prompt to appear on the box; students will write on pads provided by Jeanne). Christine will give Alexa some golf pencils.
- Online: e-mail to Greenefforts@gcmail.maricopa.edu (include in Green Tips as student activity from classes) ; Christine will use pageresource.com to create web-based email form for students to submit questions. Link will be provided on calendar entries, our webpage, the wiki and to Mary to insert in the Green Tips messages.
- Live Thursday night - use individual sheets of recycled paper. Library will provide golf pencils.
- Mary will contact Jackie Thrasher whose asst asked to see the moderator's questions in advance; no other speakers expressed concern about this.
Alternative Transportation Incentives
- Bike photo Noon Wednesday - Doris table; distribute doodads at photo (first come, first served). Christine will finally update the calendar about the photo and prizes.
- Lee Ann has Valley Metro doodads (thirty bike reflectors; thirty notepads)
Green ribbon pins & Pledge
Thursday Green Ribbon pin distribution to students who sign the pledge. Students will also be asked to donate to continue green efforts. [Back up if we run out, we can supply ribbon and safety pins? Christine will provide.]
