Loosely following the agenda, here's what we covered:

1. Welcome all new members able to attend: Ariel Clifton, Doris Velasco, Richard Scott, Angela Mick, Mark Floor, Leeann Cone, Chuck Jeffery.
2. Focus the Nation - 12 weeks until event!
   1. Fleshing out schedule: (see tentative schedule)
   2. Invite Faculty Speakers - commit to speak (see model schedule: http://www.focusthenation.org/teachinmodel.php
      1. Provide link to Teach In to all faculty
      2. Market more specifically to disciplines, compiling those sample topics that are most relevant to their subjects
      3. Discussion about how much info to provide at start: should we favor providing big picture or dole out info in installments?
   3. Invite Student Groups: ideas for activities?
      1. Phi Theta Kappa would like to plant trees - and with advisor Pam Hall are aware of working with Al Gonzales to get this going.
   4. Other speakers/ideas?
      1. Invite representatives from all political parties
      2. vendors with environmentally friendly products and services

3. page started for listing existing green initiatives and actions
   1. Leeann is developing a calendar publication to list all the conservation efforts (energy, environmental, and waste (i.e. recycling)) that GCC has in place and has plans for.  Chuck doesn't want us to steal the thunder of this publication, so we'll have to continue to be patient for comprehensive details.
4. Everyone on the distribution list as of Wed. 11/7 now has her/his own account for the wiki, so get ready to contribute!  Christine has usernames and passwords, so she will be sending these to individuals.  We're looking forward to Doris posting pictures of Mother Earth at the HTCs' Operation Green kick-off!
5. Christine will start a page that will be a running list of all our brilliant ideas - to capture them to revisit after Focus the Nation week (or, perhaps, to move discussion at the Friday action planning roundtable?)

   3.  Jan. 4, 2008 Campus Convocation/Day of Learning will have breakout sessions for the afternoon - let's get on the schedule for hosting a breakout session about Focus the Nation and how to get involved
