I have a number of ideas for editing activities for my English 101 classes this semester.

This first project asks you to look at the instructions I wrote for the Jumpstart activities.  The purpose of the Jumpstart Activities document is to help you get organized for the course, making sure you have all the necessary tools and helper applications on your home computer, and then to get your various accounts set up.  The quiz at the end provides me with information about your home computer (helpful for troubleshooting); about your technology skills, experience with this course, and your expectations; and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions.  It also asks you to acknowledge that you have read the syllabus and the grading document.

If this document wasn't clear, you now have an opportunity to make changes to it.  The process of editing helps you, but the final revised document helps me and other students in ensuing semesters.  If you have logged in to the wiki, you can edit the document in various ways.  You can just make changes by clicking on the Edit tab at the top of the page (preferable).  Or you can write a comment at the end of each document explaining what isn't clear or providing a suggestion (the wimp's way out).  Once you have edited the document, you can add a comment using the Info tab to explain what changes you made and why.  Remember that others can come in and make changes to your changes.
