Each exam study guide will be located in its own space (choose from the list below). Be sure to check which exam space you are in when adding content or making changes. These pages will be a dynamically evolving up to and through the exam period. These pages are only for use by Lynn Newman's eCourse (online section) of Introduction to Physical Geography. You will be working together to create review sheets for each exam during the course. I'll be "looking over your shoulder", watching for mistakes, but the content of this and all review sheets is primarily up to you. The other review sheets provided (non-wiki and linked in Blackboard and on my main website) give you a listing of terminology and concepts that you are responsible for knowing. You will probably find these helpful. NOTE: If you are working ahead in the course, do not answer the entire wiki - every student should have the opportunity to make contributions to answering questions posed in each wiki. If working ahead, answer a few questions in the course wiki and then work on the rest of the questions on your own (e.g., on paper). **By the way, wiki questions are not the specific questions that you will see on exams. The wiki is designed to ask you questions that have you reviewing and studying material so that you can answer the questions I ask. Exam questions will not be worded the same way as in the lecture materials or the textbook, so memorizing your notes is not the key to success. Knowing and understanding the material, is!
All exams are closed book/ closed notes/ closed internet. |
