h1. How to use {nolink:WebDAV} on Mac OS X
To use {nolink:WebDAV} on Mac OS X, you need at least Mac OS X Tiger (10.4). To access the shared space, you will additionally need to [disable network stores|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301711].

* To disable network stores, paste the following command into a Terminal window _and don't forget to hit return_:
{{{nolink:defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true}}}
Terminal can be launched from {{Applications}} > {{Utilities}} > {{Terminal}}.

Note that currently, accessing the shared folder directly does not work in OS X Tiger. Please use one of the following instead:
